Field Officers will work directly with farmers and farmer groups to facilitate commodity sourcing, aggregation, data collection, quality compliance, and delivery preparation within designated operational areas.

Farmer Engagement

  • Register and maintain relationships with farmers and farmer groups.
  • Mobilize farmers to participate in aggregation activities.
  • Communicate buyer requirements and pricing information.

Commodity Aggregation

  • Coordinate commodity collection at designated aggregation points.
  • Verify quantities delivered by farmers.
  • Maintain accurate records of farmer deliveries.

Quality Monitoring

  • Conduct preliminary quality checks.
  • Identify and report quality issues.
  • Ensure commodities meet minimum buyer specifications before acceptance.

Data Collection & Reporting

  • Collect farmer and commodity data using approved tools.
  • Submit daily and weekly aggregation reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and farmer participation.

Community Coordination

  • Organize aggregation meetings and farmer sensitization sessions.
  • Resolve minor operational issues at field level.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Extension Services, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience working with farmers.
  • Ability to work in rural communities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to ride a motorbike is an advantage.

The Commodity Aggregation Coordinator will lead and oversee all aggregation activities within the project area, ensuring efficient sourcing, collection, quality management, documentation, and delivery of commodities from farmers to buyers. The role serves as the operational link between field teams, farmers, logistics providers, warehouses, and management.

Operations & Aggregation Management

  • Plan and coordinate commodity aggregation activities across assigned regions.
  • Develop aggregation schedules and collection plans.
  • Supervise Field Officers/Aggregation Agents.
  • Monitor commodity volumes against project targets.
  • Ensure timely collection, consolidation, and movement of commodities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with farmer groups, cooperatives, aggregators, and community leaders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between farmers and project management.
  • Coordinate communication with buyers and off-takers.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to buyer specifications and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance Officer to minimize post-harvest losses.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures and documentation requirements.

Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Track aggregation performance indicators including volumes, farmer participation, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide recommendations for improving aggregation efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in agricultural aggregation, commodity trading, or value chain management.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital data collection tools.

The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that all aggregated commodities meet required quality standards and buyer specifications. The role is responsible for implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and minimizing post-harvest losses.

Quality Inspection

  • Inspect commodities at collection, storage, and dispatch stages.
  • Verify moisture levels, cleanliness, grading, and overall quality.
  • Conduct sampling and quality assessments.

Quality Systems

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures.
  • Establish commodity grading standards.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer and regulatory requirements.

Training & Capacity Building

  • Train field teams and farmers on quality standards.
  • Promote best post-harvest handling practices.

Documentation

  • Maintain quality inspection records.
  • Prepare quality assessment reports.
  • Track and report rejection rates and quality trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Post-Harvest Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of commodity quality standards and grading systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator will manage the storage, inventory, transportation, and dispatch of aggregated commodities, ensuring efficient movement from farmers to buyers while maintaining commodity integrity.

Warehouse Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations and commodity storage.
  • Maintain inventory records and stock reconciliation.
  • Ensure warehouse safety and security standards.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Arrange loading and unloading activities.
  • Monitor delivery timelines and vehicle utilization.

Inventory Control

  • Track commodity inflows and outflows.
  • Conduct periodic stock verification.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.

Documentation

  • Maintain dispatch notes, waybills, and delivery records.
  • Prepare logistics and inventory reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Experience with agricultural commodities is an advantage.

The Finance & Documentation Officer will support financial management, transaction verification, payment processing, and operational documentation for the aggregation project. The role ensures accurate financial records and compliance with project reporting requirements.

Financial Management

  • Process and reconcile farmer payments.
  • Maintain financial records and transaction documentation.
  • Track project expenditures against budget.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain aggregation records, contracts, delivery notes, and payment records.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of project documentation.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews.

Reporting

  • Prepare financial summaries and expenditure reports.
  • Assist management with budgeting and financial planning.
  • Support donor and investor reporting requirements where applicable.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain filing systems (physical and digital).
  • Coordinate document approvals and record management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or financial administration experience.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
